Permanent Make-up

What is a permanent make-up or so-called micro pigmentation?

hautok offers permanent make-up in cooperation with an especially licensed cosmetician by Long-Time Liner®. Two main reason made us choose this partner for our cooperation:

  • Long-Time Liner® has been successfully on this market for more than 20 years, is EU certified and offers especially pure and certified coloring pigments.
  • Long-Time Liner® cosmeticians are trained in cosmetic micro pigmentation as well as in the medical application of micro pigments.

The process of injecting very fine and pure pigments into the dermis is called micro pigmentation or derma pigmentation; sometimes it is referred to as cosmetic tattooing. The color of the pigments depends on the special location, indication and desired results. In medical applications skin tones are used most of the time, for example in order to make a pearl white scar less visible (camouflage). In cosmetic applications, for example applying an eye shadow or permanent eyeliner, more colored or darker pigments are often used.

Medical applications of micro pigmentation
In the medical field micro pigmentation is widely used, for example in order to mimic nipples and areola areas after reconstructive breast surgery, in order to optimize the appearance of a cleft lip and palate, to minimize the visibility of discolored scars or pigmentation disorders. The pigments are custom blended to harmonize with the surrounding skin.
Another medical application is a fine pigmentation in order to mimic eyebrows after a complete loss of hair (alopecia), which might occur after chemotherapeutical treatments or due to a disease.

Cosmetic applications of micro pigmentation
Micro pigmentations are an ideal alternative to decorative cosmetics – in particular in the eye area – for people with sensitive skin or the tendency to allergic reactions. Micro pigmentation of the upper and lower lid makes the eyelashes appear more voluminous even without mascara. The application of cosmetics might also become a daily challenge due to a chronic condition such as osteoarthritis or gout in the hands or impaired sight. Permanent make-up is the ideal solution in these cases.

Impact full eyes
A new dermatologically tested method is going to create a permanent curl for your eyelashes. Instead of daily usage of a lash curler the lashes are formed by means of a gel. The curl lasts 6 to 8 weeks and does not only save time during the daily make-up routine but also prevent lashes from breaking whilst forming.
